猪宝采集的最佳时机与处理方法
专业采集要求在生猪宰杀后1小时内完成，此时猪宝湿度适中（含水量15-20%），不易破损。采集时需使用竹制工具（忌金属接触），轻轻剥离周围结缔组织。初步处理包括:生理盐水冲洗（去除血污）、阴干（避免暴晒）、75%乙醇表面消毒。关键控制点是保持形态完整，破损品价值直降50%以上。实验数据显示，夏季采集的猪宝胆酸含量比冬季低20%左右，这与猪只代谢水平有关，因此冬季是最佳采集季。
马宝:俗称马粪石、黄，马宝为不常用中，始载于《本草纲目》，为马科动物马胃肠中的结石，《本草纲目》和《辍耕录》中称鲊答。具镇惊化痰、之功，主治惊痫癫狂、痰热内盛、神志昏迷、恶疮肿毒及失血等。马宝为我国传统中医材，牛黄完整者多呈卵形，质轻，表面金黄至黄褐，细腻而有光泽。中医学认为牛黄气清香，味微苦而后甜，性凉。可用于解热、、定惊。内服治高热神志昏迷、癫狂、小儿惊风、抽搐等症，外用治咽喉肿痛、口疮痈肿、尿毒症。天然牛黄很珍贵，上的价格要高于黄金，大部分使用的是人工牛黄
